EFC Holds 96th Annual General Meeting at BMICH
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) successfully held its 96th Annual General Meeting on 30th June 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The event brought together Trustees, Council Members, and representatives from the Federation’s wide network of member organizations across various industries.
During the meeting, appointments were made to the Board of Trustees and the Council representing different Employer Groups for the financial year 2025/26.
Mr. Dinesh Weerakkody, was re-elected as Chairman of the Federation, while Mr. Sanath Manatunge, was re-elected as the Vice Chairman.
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon is the recognized national body representing employers across all sectors of economic activity since 1929. It serves as the official Employer constituent of Sri Lanka, acknowledged by both the Government of Sri Lanka and the International Labour Organization.
