EFC Rings the Bell at CSE to Celebrate 96 Years
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) marked a proud milestone on 20th of August 2025, celebrating 96 years of service by ringing the Opening Bell at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
The ceremony paid tribute to the EFC’s long journey in promoting fair employment, social harmony, and strong workplace relations in Sri Lanka.
EFC Chairman Mr. Dinesh Weerakkody, Vice Chairman Mr. Sanath Manatunga, Director General Mr. Vajira Ellepola, Deputy Director General Mr. Adhil Khasim and Senior Assistant Director General Ms. Yashoravi Bakmiwewa were present at the event.
Representing the CSE Chairman Mr. Dimuthu Abeyesekera, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike and Chief Executive Officer Designate Mr. Vindhya Jayasekera.
The celebration also reflected the close bond between the EFC and the business community, and its continuing commitment to building sustainable and meaningful employment opportunities across the country.
