The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon Donates Rs. 1 million to “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) has donated Rs. 1 million to the “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund, established to support communities and individuals affected by the Ditwa cyclone, which caused widespread damage across several parts of the country.
The donation was formally presented to the Hon. Minister of Labour, Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Labour, Mr. Mahinda Jayasinghe, and the Secretary to the Ministry of Labour, Mr. S. M. Piyathissa, at the Ministry of Labour on 18th December 2025.
Representing the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon at the occasion were Director General Mr. Vajira Ellepola and Deputy Director General Mr. Adhil Kasim.
The donation forms part of broader efforts to mobilize institutional support for national recovery initiatives.
