Empowering conversations. Inspiring leadership. Driving real change.

We were proud to host an impactful International Women’s Day 2026 forum on “Sharing the Ladder: Giving Women a Step Up to Gain a Stronger Workforce.” The session brought together distinguished industry leaders and professionals to explore how organizations can actively create meaningful pathways for women to grow, lead, and thrive.

The forum opened with insightful remarks by Ayomi Fernando, setting the tone for a powerful discussion that followed. Our panel, featuring leading corporate voices including Rukshila Seneviratne of Standard Chartered Sri Lanka, Dahami Hewagamage of Hemas Consumer Brands and Dinusha Jayamanne of Brandix Apparel Pvt Ltd highlighted how building inclusive workplaces requires more than intent, it calls for consistent, measurable action.

The conversation underscored that gender equality is not just a goal, but a strategic priority, one that begins with creating early opportunities, increasing visibility, and fostering mentorship to shape future women leaders. Panelists also reflected on how empowering women extends far beyond the workplace, creating a ripple effect that strengthens families, communities, and society at large.

Importantly, the discussion brought to light the value of targeted initiatives that build women’s confidence, independence, and leadership capability, while also acknowledging the realities of balancing career responsibilities.

Real-world initiatives and inclusive practices demonstrated how organizations can cultivate safe, equitable environments while making a broader social impact. At its core, the discussion reinforced a simple yet powerful idea: when we lift others, we strengthen organizations, empower communities, and build a more resilient future.

A special thank you to our esteemed speakers, moderator, and all participants who contributed to making this session truly meaningful.
