Secretary General of the IOE holds bilateral discussions with The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC)
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) had the distinct honor of welcoming Mr. Roberto Suarez Santos, Secretary General of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), Geneva, who visited Sri Lanka recently.
During his visit a bilateral meeting was organized and Mr. Roberto Santos engaged in a cordial discussion with the Director General of the EFC, Mr. Vajira Ellepola, and the senior professionals of the Federation. The discussion centered on bilateral matters aimed at strengthening the longstanding relationship between the IOE and the EFC. The dialogue provided an opportunity to explore ways to enhance collaboration, share best practices, and promote the role of employer organizations in shaping policies that support sustainable business growth and economic development.
The meeting also underscored the importance of global employer representation and highlighted potential initiatives that could benefit both Sri Lankan enterprises and the wider international business community. Mr. Suarez Santos expressed appreciation of the EFC’s leadership in representing employers and supporting the growth of businesses across Sri Lanka.
To commemorate this special occasion, a token of appreciation was presented to Mr.Roberto Suarez Santos by the EFC, marking a significant milestone in the partnership between the two organizations.
