Dinuthri Nugegoda

Dinuthri  joined the EFC in January 2026 and is assigned to the plantation services unit. She is engaged in representing member organizations in employment related litigation before various fora, including High Court, Labour Tribunals, Arbitrations/Industrial Court, the Workmen’s Compensation Tribunal and the Department of Labour and in advising member organizations on Labour/Employment Law and Industrial Relations.

Prior to joining the EFC, Dinuthri has worked as junior counsel to several President’s Counsels and senior Attorneys-at-Law. Dinuthri has exposure in both civil and labour law. Dinuthri was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2021.

Kanishka joined the EFC in February 2023 and is engaged in representing member organisations in employment related litigation before Labour Tribunals, Arbitrations/Industrial Court, the Workmen’s Compensation Tribunal and the Department of Labour. He also engages in advising member organisations on Labour/Employment Law.

Kanishka has been called to the Bar in 2014. He has worked as Junior Counsel to several President’s Counsel and senior Attorneys-at-Law since 2014 prior to commencing his own practice in 2020. He has exposure in Criminal Law, Customs Law, Labour Law and Consumer Law and has represented parties before Labour Tribunals, Magistrates Court, District Court, High Court and the Supreme Court.
