Dr. Chandratilleke, formerly Head of Training at the EFC, counts forty years of experience in management training, consultancy and research, in Sri Lanka as well as in the Asian Region. Prior to joining the Federation in 2005, he has been employed at the National Institute of Business Management as a Senior Consultant and Director Management Development. In addition to academic training, he has undergone special training in management consultancy at the Japan Productivity Center in Tokyo, Total Quality Management at the Nippon-Keidanren International Training Center in Tokyo and Entrepreneurship Education at the International Training Center of the International Labour Organisation in Turin, Italy.
Apart from being a competent trainer and a researcher in Human Resource Management, he has extensive experience in undertaking consultancy assignments in organisation re-structuring, institutional audits, preparation of job descriptions, designing performance management schemes, training needs analysis, formulation of training and development plans, organisational climate and engagement surveys, productivity and manpower assessments and developing key performance indicators. Dr. Chandratilleke has a number of research publications to his credit and also serves as a visiting lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine of the University of Colombo and the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture of the University of Peradeniya.
