Padmini joined the EFC in November 2022. She has over 25 years of experience in heading Finance Divisions covering manufacturing, educational and service sectors. She has expertise in financial management, budgeting, variance analysis, establishing internal controls, and taxation.
Padmini is a certificate holder in taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka. She brings with her a strong track record in financial management and her expertise also extends to managing and implementing ERP systems making her a well-rounded finance professional with many years of hands on experience.

Dinesh Ruwan Kumara

Ruwan has been with the Federation since 2017 and is involved in the activities of its Solutions Unit. His main research strengths are Education Economics, Health Economics, Poverty Analysis and Labour Economics. He has contributed to the EFC publications/surveys on The Initial Assessment of The Impact of COVID -19 on Employers and Plantation Trade Unions. Ruwan also represents the EFC at various related fora.
Before joining the Federation, Ruwan has been employed at the World Health Organisation, National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol and the Institute for Health Policy.
