Samanthika has been with the EFC since 2015 and is involved in advising member organisations on Labour/Employment Law, Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. In addition, she has experience in reviewing/developing Human Resource policy manuals and job descriptions and conducting HR/Legal compliance audits, organisational climate surveys, work/time studies to establish cadre requirements and compensation and benefits surveys.
Samanthika has received training on Participatory Gender Audits from The International Training Center of the International Labour Organisation (ITC-ILO), Turin-Italy and has followed the Instructor’s Training Programme on Management Training of the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA), Japan. She was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2006.
Prior to joining the EFC, Samanthika worked with several private sector organisations in the IT, BPO and Banking sectors.
