Upeksha joined the EFC in 2020, initially as a trainee Industrial Relations Advisor. She is involved in representing member organisations before Labour Tribunals and the Labour Department, advisory services and activities of the EFC Solutions – HR and Legal unit.

Prior to joining the Federation, Upeksha completed a stint of apprenticeship at the Attorney General’s Department and also has interned at the Institute of Health Policy.

She was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2020.
