Yashoravi Bakmiwewa

Yashoravi has been with the EFC since 2010 and is involved in providing legal advice to member organisations on Labour/Employment Law, Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and conducting training on the said areas in addition to Heading the training unit. She is also engaged in representing member organisations in employment related litigation before Labour Tribunals, Arbitrations/Industrial Court and the Labour Department in addition to representing the interests of employers at tripartite fora such as the Wages Boards and Steering Committees on the eradication of Child Labour.   

Yashoravi has received training on Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management both nationally and internationally. She was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2007 and commenced her professional career at the Attorney General’s Department.
