EFC Contributes to National Labour Law Symposium on the Future of Employment Relations
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) participated in the National Labour Law Symposium organised by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka under the theme “Industrial Law in Transition: Evolving Laws for an Evolving Workplace.”
The symposium featured five technical sessions exploring key issues shaping the future of employment.
The EFC Director General, Vajira Ellepola, and Co-Deputy Director General, Yashoravi Bakmiwewa, contributed to the discussion forums on the ‘Dynamics in the Contract of Employment” and “Sexual Harassment in Employment”, as panelists.
The symposium provided an important platform for constructive dialogue among legal and industry stakeholders on building a progressive and inclusive labour law framework for the future of work in Sri Lanka.
