Two-Day Certificate Programme on Microsoft Power BI Successfully Concluded
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) successfully conducted a Two-Day Certificate Programme on Microsoft Power BI on 03 and 10 June 2026 at the EFC Auditorium, Rajagiriya.
The programme was designed to equip professionals with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in Microsoft Power BI, enabling them to transform data into meaningful insights for informed business decision-making.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Pubudu Dissanayake, a Certified Corporate Trainer (SLITAD), Microsoft Certified Excel Expert, HR Consultant, and Certified NLP Practitioner, who guided participants through both fundamental and advanced concepts of Power BI.
The first day focused on data foundations and transformation, covering business analytics fundamentals, Power Query, data modelling, DAX essentials, and report design. On the second day, participants explored advanced analytics and dashboard development, including advanced DAX functions, interactive visualisations, Power BI Service, cloud publishing, enterprise governance, security features, and the development of executive dashboards.
The programme combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, providing participants with valuable exposure to real-world business analytics applications. At the conclusion of the programme, participants were awarded Certificates of Achievement in recognition of their successful completion of the training.
Through programmes such as this, the EFC continues to support organisations and professionals in enhancing their digital capabilities and promoting data-driven decision-making in the modern workplace.
